ARMSTRONG— McINTYRE.
St. David's Presbyterian Church, Albury, on December 26 was the scene of the wedding of Miss Jean Mclntyre, of Wagga, second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. A. J. M'lntyre, of Albury, and Charles William, third son of Mr. and Mrs. G. I. Armstrong, of Wagga. The church was decorated by the bridegroom's parents with pink hydrangea. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a frock of stiffened lace cut on classical lines, forming a fan train. Georgette ruckings edged the skirt. Full bell sleeves were worn, and double Peter Pan colors, while the veil, lent by Mrs. M. J. Palmer (Roseville), was held in place by a halo of tulle and orange blossom and mounted on pale pink tulle. The bride carried a bouquet of cream roses and pink carnations. The bride was assisted by her two sisters, Misses Nancy and Meryl Mclntyre, of Albury, and her cousin, Miss Jean McIntyre, of Wagga, who wore picture frocks of organdi, in
blue nil green and pink, with period bonnets to match. They carried gold baskets of flowers to tone with their frocks. Mr. Andrew Mclntyre, of Melbourne, was best men, and was assisted by Mr. J. Derrick, of Albury, and Mr. A. Baker, of Wagga. After the ceremony, which was performed by the Rev. H. J. Hillman, a reception was held at St. Matthew's Hall, which was tastefully decorated in pink and gold. Mrs. McIntyre received the guests, wearing a frock of fawn and nigger embossed crepe romaine and carrying a posy of fuchsias. She was assisted by the bridegroom's mother, who wore a black georgette frock and carried a bouquet of orange tiger lilies. The honeymoon was spent in Melbourne and touring Gippsland and Lakes Entrance (V.). Mr. and Mrs. Armstrong's future home will be in Wagga.
