KIESCHNICK, Mrs. Rebecca Lane (Adolph J.) of Thorndale & Dallas. Age 76. Died 11/26/1948 (Friday) in Dallas. Services held (Sunday) in St.Paul Lutheran Church. Burial in church cemetery. Her former pastor, Rev. F.H. Stelzer officiated.

She was BORN 12/7/1872 in Davilla, TX. to M/M. William Young. Married Adolph J. Kieschnick on 7/12/1908 and lived on a farm near Thorndale with her family. Husband preceded her in death on 1/30/1925. She then moved into Thorndale with her daughter, Alberta Ruth, and later made her home in Dallas. United with the Christian Church when she was a young girl and later on 12/5/1909 joined the Lutheran Church in Thorndale with her husband.

SURVIVORS: Daughter, Mrs. Clyde Stocks of Seattle, WA.; 2 step-children, Adolph Kieschnick of Thorndale and Mrs. Herbert Weiser of Giddings; 5 grandchildren; 2 sisters, Mrs. O.L. Hardy of Dallas and Mrs. Minnie Kirkman of Thorndale; brother, Sharp Young of Tow, TX.
