Lexington – Mr. Jackie Ray Dugan, 78, entered into rest on Wednesday, July 1, 2020. He is the husband of 38 years to the late Sandra T. Dugan. Mr. Jackie is the father of Beth Garvy and her husband Greg, John Sharpe and his wife Shannon, Rachel Dugan, and the late Carl Sharpe and his companion Tina Marie Tindal. He is the Pa Pa of Gregg Garvy, Nikki (Justin) Jernigan, Danielle (Adam Carver) Garvy, Jonathon Sharpe, Jr., McKenzie (Josh) Lindsey, Brittany (Ken) Smoak, Brook (Brandon Welch) Sharpe, Grant Sawyer, and Miranda Sawyer. He is the Great Pa Pa to Jameson Jernigan, Colton Jernigan, Aeris Carver, Beckham Lindsey, Greylen Smoak, and Andy Welch. Mr. Jackie is the son of the late Wilford Thomas Duggan and the late Annie Mae Johnson Duggan. He is one of six siblings.
Mr. Jackie was a veteran of the U. S. Army National Guard. He was a welder for many years with Allis Chambliss until their closing. Jackie then worked as an electrical helper with his brothers Tim and Earl at Dugan Electric. Jackie loved his family and working in his garden.
The family will be honoring Mr. Jackie’s life with private services at this time.
