Martha married Charles Leeds Allen on 12 Dec 1845 in Thomaston. He was b 25 July 1823, Matinicus Isle, the s/o Charles Allen & Desire Ryder. He d 12 Dec 1897. Martha & Charles had 2 daughters; Clara Frances b abt 1847 - after 1930; Martha Delia b Sep 1849 - 2 May 1931, Rockland. She died 2 months after the birth of their 2nd child.
The 1850 Maine Mortality Schedule cited that Martha W Allen, age 24, died Nov 1849 from typhus (fever) [received from a bug bite!]
