Ms. Ethel Bernice Lane Griffin, age 88 of Douglas passed away Friday morning, July 3, 2020 at her son’s residence (T. C. Griffin) following an extended illness. Ms. Griffin was born September 25, 1931 to the late Horace E. Lane and the late Edna Mae Gardner Lane. She was the widow of Fulmer Franklin Griffin.
Ms. Griffin, a native of Gastonia Township, NC, had lived in Douglas for a number of years. She was a realtor and a real estate appraiser. She was of the Baptist Faith.
