EMMA'S OBITUARY
Emma K. McMillan, of Cedar Grove, was born on October 1, 1946 in South Gate, a daughter to Joseph and Helen Geis Arnold. She married Alvin McMillan on February 17, 1973 in Lawrenceburg and together they raised three children. Most will remember Emma working for the Franklin County School Corporation at Mt. Carmel. She was a member of Rockdale United Methodist Church and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. On Thursday, July 2, 2020 at the age of 73, she passed away at Hospice of Hamilton.
Those surviving who will cherish Emma’s memory include her loving husband of 47 years, Alvin McMillan; sons, Kendall (Susie) McMillan of Sunman, and Wendel (Jessica) McMillan of Brookville; one daughter, Carrie Clark of Cedar Grove, and two grandchildren, Harley Clark and Bailey Brabant. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, William Arnold.
Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday, July 8, 2020 from 4 until 8 p.m. at Cook Rosenberger Funeral Home, 929 Main Street, Brookville. Andria Green will officiate the funeral service on Thursday at the funeral home at 10 a.m. and burial will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
