Lula was born in Jackson County, Gainesboro TN, on Wednesday, March 26, 1930. She was the daughter of the late Millard and Della (Barlow) Masters.
Della was married to the late Reverend Comer L. Hawkins. She was a member of New Beginnings Assembly of God.
Lula is survived by:
2 daughters and Sons-in-law:
Sharon and James βJimβ Curtis of Cookeville, TN.
Debbie and Kenny Alexandria Franklin, OH.
3 Grandchildren:
Kevin Lynn and wife Sandra, Heather, and Scott
11 Great-Grandchildren: Cody, Taylor, Tori, Taylor, Chad, Austin, Rylie, Daylan, Nick, Robert, and Alyssa
1 Great-Great-Grandchild: Ryle
In addition to her late husband, Lula was preceded in death by: Grandson, James Bryan Curtis; Siblings, Elmer Masters, Haskell Masters, Vergie Smith, Willie Masters, Ruth Brown, Norma Loftis, William Masters, Irene Malone, Ruby Carlile, Pearl Ford, Darlene Huber, and Roy Masters.
Graveside Services for Della will be held Monday, July 6, 2020 beginning 12:00 pm at DeKalb Memorial Cemetery in Smithville Tennessee, Pastor Myron Greer officiating. Burial will follow in the Dekalb Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
