Orville Raymond Gaibler, 89, of Farnam, Nebraska, died July 1, 2020 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney, NE.

He was born September 12, 1930 in Farnam, NE, son of Christian and Lucile (Bick) Gaibler.Orville graduated from Farnam High School in 1948. He served his country in the US Army from Jan 1952 to Dec 1953. Orville married Jeweldine Davis on September 30, 1952 in Farnam, to this union two children were born; Allen and Joyce. They made their home on the farm southwest of Farnam and he lived in the Farnam area his entire life. Orville had a deep love for the land and the life that came with farming and ranching. He was a member of the Farnam Methodist Church and his faith was very important to him.

Survivors include his children Allen (Claudia) Gaibler of Central City and Joyce (David) Hartman of Kearney; grandchildren- Joshua (Jill) Gaibler and their children Jayden and Morgan of Central City; Tiffany, James, Crystal, Emily Hartman all of Kearney; brother Lester Gaibler and sister Ruth Sturgeon along with many friends and extended family.

Orville was preceded in death by wife, Jeweldine Gaibler in 2018, and his parents Christian and Lucille Gaibler; sister Geneva Friesenborg.

Visitation will be held at Blase-Strauser Memorial Chapel, Gothenburg, Nebraska; Thursday, July 9, 2020, 9:30 am - 12:30 pm.

Private Family Burial will be at Ft. McPherson National Cemetery next to his wife.
