She was born on March 2, l9l4, in Drew County, a daughter of the late Everett Calhoun and Frankie Mays Calhoun.
She owned Prentiss Sweeney Grocery and was a member of Mount Zion Presbyterian Church in Lincoln County.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Prentiss Sweeney. There are no immediate survivors.
Funeral services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Thursday at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Home at Monticello with the Rev. Mike Garvey officiating.
Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery in Lincoln County.
