Lynn Chapman, 85, of Lake Seminole/Chattahoochee area, formerly of Gainesville, FL passed away Monday, June 29, 2020.

After earning his high school diploma and taking some college courses, Lynn struck out in the world. He retired from Publix as a supermarket manager and moved to “The Lake” in 2000. He was United Methodist by faith and a 32° Mason.

Lynn operated from a spirit of giving. He unselfishly shared what he had with his family and others. He offered a listening ear and mentored many throughout his career with Publix. Lynn enjoyed the outdoors and thought he found sportsman’s paradise for hunting and fishing at Lake Seminole. The Beau Rivage in Biloxi was a favorite destination for travel.

Survivors include:
his companion, Glenda
three daughters of Strongsville, OH, Littleton, CO, and Davenport, FL
a son and his partner of Gainesville, FL
a brother and sister-in-law of Wauchula, FL
a sister and brother-in-law of Tampa, FL
three grandchildren
a great-grandchild
a great-great-grandchild

Lynn was preceded in death by:
his parents, Malcom and Iva Blanton Chapman
his siblings, Mildred Chapman, Roy M. Chapman, and Iva Lou Orender

Due to the ongoing concerns regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, a private funeral service wias held at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Charles Stephens officiating.
