B. F. Beach Dead
Another of the respected residents of South Gower township passed away this week in the person of Benjamin F. Beach who died on Tuesday at 2 p.m.
He was aged 79 years and had been ailing for a long time. During all of last winter he had been in especially poor health so that his demise does not come at all unexpectedly. His loss is mourned by very many warm freinds who have learned to respect him for his steadfast honesty and sterling worth.
The late B.F. Beach was born in South Gower and has lived there all his life. He was a lifelong and consistent member of the Baptist church under the auspices of which the funeral will be held on Friday. Interment will be made in the South Gower cemetery.
Of a family of thirteen, nine now survive. These are: Margaret, at home; William and Benjamin of Oxford; David, who is in British Columbia; Frederick, Albert, Alfred, Abram, Ezra, and Sanford E. of South Gower. Four children (Thomas, Sidney, Hanna and Ruth) are dead. Mr. Beach's wife preceded him to the spirit world by six years.
