Physicist, Fellow of Trinity College. Son of Sir William Bragg, and awarded jointly with him a Nobel Prize for their work on crystallography in 1915. He remains the youngest person ever to have won the Nobel. According to the inscription 'he captivated the minds of his audiences with a style of lecturing at once lucid and elegant'.
