Norma Jean (Kiespert) Fisher was born July 3, 1930 in Guthrie, OK to Paul E. and Pearl A. (Stephens) Kiespert. Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, put his loving hands around Norma and carried her home on Wednesday, June 24, 2020 in Oklahoma City, OK.

Norma attended school at Zion Lutheran Church School and then in the Guthrie Public School system, graduating in 1947.

In 1959, Norma married the love of her life, James L. Fisher.

Norma was a lifelong Christian with membership at three Missouri Synod Lutheran Churches with those being Zion Lutheran Church in Guthrie, Our Savior Lutheran Church also in Guthrie and Christ Lutheran Church in Perry, OK.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and six sisters.

Norma is survived by her children James D. Fisher and wife, Rebecca and Camilla J. Fisher, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, four sisters, and three brothers.

A graveside service will be held at 10:30 A.M., Monday, June 29, 2020 at Summit View Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, Norma has previously requested that donations in her name be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or a charity of your choice.
