Shirley enjoyed many things throughout her life, from playing poker, going out dancing, and playing bingo. She liked being outdoors, going fishing and having bonfires. Most of all Shirley loved her children and all of her family. She cherished everyone getting all together for gatherings, cooking meals, and having a great time being surrounded by loved ones.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Bobby Biddle; and son Robert Allen Jr.
Shirley is survived by her children, Elizabeth (William) Ditchley, of Indianapolis, Peggy (Elvin) Ortega, of Indianapolis, James (Shelley) Allen, of Indianapolis, Exie (Donald) Hicks, of Martinsville, Amanda Burton, Lynn Ferra, Amy Ellis; Sisters, Mildred Farmer, of Bargersville, Carol Johnson, of Clayton, Marlene Kinder, of Arkansas, Catherine Holeman, of Indianapolis; her brothers, John Ralph Biddle, of New Mexico, Claudie Biddle, of Indianapolis, Charles Biddle, of Arkansas; 29 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren; many loved ones and friends.
Funeral will be held on Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Jessen Funeral Home~ Whiteland Chapel with visitation from 11:00 AM until the funeral hour. Burial to follow funeral at Washington Park East Cemetery.
