Sandra I. Little, 76, of Elk Point, South Dakota passed away after a brief illness at Prairie Estates Care Facility in Elk Point, South Dakota.

Sandra (Spain) Little was born on September 14th, 1943 to John B. Spain and Grace (Livingston) Spain in Vermillion, South Dakota. She attended many schools in South Dakota and graduated from Jefferson High School in Jefferson, South Dakota in 1961. After graduation she joined the United States Army and was a nurse during the Vietnam war.

During her duty of service in the army, she met her husband Donald E Little and was married on December 7th, 1964. To this union, three children were born; Donald E Little Jr. of North Sioux City, South Dakota, John Little of Elk Point, South Dakota, and Lavenda (Little) Hansen of Sioux City, Iowa.

Besides Sandra’s duty in service to the United States Army, she was also a librarian at Elk Point Public School, she had also done restaurant work at various locations. Sandra belonged to the TOPS Club, enjoyed reading, and doing word find books. Sandra also enjoyed square dancing with her husband, and they were also apart of a bowling league together. Most importantly she enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include her children, son, Donald E Little Jr, son, John Little, and daughter Lavenda (Michael) Hansen. Grandchildren, Michael Little, Kimberly Hansen, Jessica Hansen, Brittney Little, Mersadie Hansen, and Kelsey Little. Great Grandchildren, Michael Tye Little Jr, Elijah Jaminet, Joseph Flyinghawk. Also, including many nieces and nephews.

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her siblings; Darlene Spain, Tommy Spain, John Spain, Ronald Spain, and Patricia (Spain) Brown.
