Mr. Boyd was born in Conway, a son of the late William James and Myrtle Louise Boyd. Prior to his retirement, he was a farmer and had worked for Jerry Cox Fuel Company. Mr. Boyd was a US Army Veteran and graduate of Conway High School. He was predeceased by his wife, Sally Stevens Boyd and a sister, Peggy Boyd Graham.
Surviving are: his daughter, Amy Boyd Yanik and her husband John of Ocean Isle Beach, NC; his special buddy, "Mojo"; two brothers, Winston Boyd and his wife Robin of Cave Springs, GA, and Rick Boyd and his wife Sharon of Conway, SC; two sisters, Doris Boyd Piver of Conway and Linda Boyd McDowell and her husband Johnny of Murrells Inlet, SC.
Funeral services and interment in Hillcrest Cemetery, Conway, are private due to COVID-19 and CDC regulations.
