Michael Nolan Skinner
1969 - 2018

Early Life: Michael was born November 27, 1969, to Nolan Wendell and Colette Moulton Skinner, a younger brother to sisters, Kathy and Wendy, older brother to sister, Michele. An active young man, Michael spent much of his free time with his friends from Orem High School, where he met his wife, Courtney.
Life's Work | Service | Interests: The two built their life together in a quiet corner of Provo, Utah, constructing their house and raising their two children. An attentive father, Michael taught his kids to ride their bikes, and more importantly, he taught them not to be afraid to fall because they could get back up and try again. He was proud of his family. He attended every musical his daughter performed in, and every JROTC ceremony for his son. He brought his wife daffodils on Mother's Day, and he made the family breakfast most weekends. An avid outdoorsman, Michael loved to fish, hunt, and go hike the Y trail after dinner. He was a dedicated machinist for over 20 years and was proud of his work. Michael never ran from work; whether it was a family member needing home repair, or a neighbor with a fallen tree or unshoveled sidewalk, Michael was always ready to help. At the end of the day, the person who leaves us and the person who loves us can be two very different people. But Michael Skinner was a man who loved fiercely and is loved completely. Michael Nolan Skinner passed from this life April 22, 2018. He was 48.
Survived By: His wife, Courtney; son, Hayden; daughter, Tiffany; and his parents.
