William Edward Gray, second son of William Newton (1883-1957) and Alma Pearl Morgan Gray (1890-1919), lived in Rockholds, Ky. He married Hilda Lewis Blanton (1924-2004), daughter of Robert C. (1888-1964) and Martha E. Lewis Blanton (c1888-1973), of Harlan County, Ky. Their five children were William Keith, Jerry Samuel (1944-1999), Donna Kaye, Catherine Sue, and Kellie Jo Gray.

William Keith Gray lives in Metamora, Ill. and served in the Army National Guard, 1958-60. He married in 1963, Barbara Louise Bennett, daughter of Monroe (1887-1965) and Ethel Jane Jones Bennett (1907-98), of Cawood, Ky. Their four children are Tammie Lee, Brian Keith, William Edward, II and Adam Gerald Gray.

Jerry Samuel Gray (1944-1999) lived in Rockholds and served in the Army, 1961-63. He married, and their children are Paula Denise, Christopher Scott, and Jerry Michael Gray. Christopher Scott Gray lives in Rockholds and married in 1998, Jenny Lynn Douglas. Their children are Jacob Tyler, Andrew Scott, and Caleb Samuel Gray.

Donna Kaye Gray (Cumberlands 1989) was a teacher in Rockholds. She married in 1978, Tommy Ralph Freeman, and their daughters are Megan Kaye (Cumberlands 2004) and Carrie Mae Freeman (Cumberlands 2006).

Catherine Sue Gray lives in Jellico, Tn. She married (1) in 1973, Frederick R. Cruz, and their children are Stephanie Beth, Miranda Dawn and Shannon Fredreck Cruz. She married (2) in 1998, Leonard Heaton, Jr., and their son is Samuel Isaac Heaton.

William Edward Gray died June 17, 1994. His wife, Hilda Blanton, died June 25, 2004. Reportedly they were buried in Highland Park Cemetery, Williamsburg, Ky.
