Ollie June Moore
June 13, 1940 - June 16, 2020

Ollie June Herod Moore went to be with her Lord on June 18, 2020 after a decline in health over the past month or so following her 80th birthday.
She was born on June 13, 1940 to Audie Herod and Ruby Riley in Breckenridge, Texas. She graduated from Throckmorton High School on May 23, 1958. She married Jerry Warner and they had 2 sons, Paul and Jeff. After coming to austin, she met Hansel Bryan Moore. They began attending First Baptist Church in Austin, Texas during the time Browning Ware was pastor and made many friends there. They were married there in January 1997 by the Rev. Roger Paynter.
She was an active member of the women's missionary prayer group, the Love Sunday School class, and the Sanctuary choir under the direction of Louise Avant. They maintained life together with the help of their church family until Hansel took ill 2 years ago and passed. She moved into West Oaks Nursing and Rehabilitation Center just 2 weeks before Hansel passed as she just could no longer maintain life in an apartment alone.
She is survived by a sister and brother-in-law LaVerne and Josh Davis of Richland Hills, Texas and 1 niece, Laura Elmore, 2 sons Paul Warner of Lubbock, Texas and Jeff Warner of Colorado and 7 grandchildren of who she always spoke fondly, and sister-in-law Betty Bennett.
Family and friends would like to express much gratitude to the staff at West Oaks and New Century Hospice for their loving care of June through this time of confinement due to the Covid pandemic. They were awesome in trying to make life as normal as possible.
