Phebe, after the death of John, married Thomas, son of Joseph and Martha J (Bowne) Thorne of Flushing and Musketa Cove, NY who was b 1704 and d 1764-7.

He first married 3 Sep 1725 in Oyster Bay Penelope Coles and had a son, Daniel Thorne

Phebe married Thomas Thorn as above and moved to Cortlandt Manor, NY. Being Tories, the sons of Thomas and Phebe fled to the western part of Long Island during the Revolution, which was occupied by the British. James and Melancthon married there but Jacob's wife was from Westchester. Melancthon went to St Johns, NB but returned.
