William “Charlie” Gill, 82, passed away in Jacksonville, FL on Sunday, June 14, 2020. He was born August 3, 1937 in Waycross, GA. Charlie served in the US Army from December 1955-December 1958. He retired from Economy Printing in Jacksonville, FL at the age of 65. He was married to Mildred “Millie” Fisher Gill from December 10, 1960 until her death on March 1, 2008. They had 2 children. Charlie loved to fish and tinker in his garage on cars and other projects. Over the course of his life, he had been in construction, printing and farming. He loved the outdoors and loved his family. He now joins his beloved wife at their final resting place together. Charlie is preceded in death by his parents John William Gill and Lillie Irene Edenfield, sisters Dot Vanlandingham, Patsy Edenfield and brother Gene Rowland. He is survived by his son William “Bill” Charles Gill Jr., his wife Shannon Gill, their children Stephanie Gill, Justin Gill, Grant Gill, Amy Gill, his daughter Angela “Angie” Denice Gill, her children John Weslee Kibler who passed away October 31, 2015, Victoria Denice Broadwell, Kendra Leigh Broadwell, Rachel Ann Broadwell, Christopher John Broadwell, great-grandchildren Izayah Miller, J.J. Williams, Dalton Kibler and a host of step-grandchildren and step great-grandchildren that were loved by him and Millie over the course of their lives, sisters Jackie Hand and Bobby Edenfield as well as a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
