Our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother, Irma Norr Baxter Peterson, age 83, returned to her Heavenly Father on February 18, 1991 in Salt Lake City.

She was born September 7, 1907 in Logan, Utah to Olef James and Mary Jane Harris Norr. Married Willard Cooper Baxter on December 1, 1923 in Logan; divorced. She later married Otis Peterson and he died November 1984. She is the last surviving member of her immediate family. Active member of the LDS Church having served Florida LDS mission. Former ward Relief Society president and served in several capacities in the Young Women's organization. She was ward organist in several different wards. She spent untold hours doing genealogical research and Temple work for deceased ancestors. Served as a teacher in Primary organization until the time of her death. A very artistic person, she created many beautiful articles for family and friends. She always remembered family members and friends on birthdays and special occasions. She was an excellent seamstress. She was dearly loved by her children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Survived by sons and a daughter, Willard Norr (wife Barbara) Baxter, Murray; Reed Norr (wife Rose) Baxter, Centerville; Ray Duane (wife Jan) Baxter, San Diego, California; Mrs.Ralph (Beth) Clark, Salt Lake City; 35 grandchildren; 75 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-granddaughter; many nieces and nephews. Also surviving are step-children, Lyle (wife JoAnn) Peterson; Mrs. Jim (Latrice) Wilde; both of Marion, Utah; Mrs.Dale (Ileene) Peterson of Tigard, Oregon. Preceded in death by a son, James Richard Baxter.

Funeral services Thursday, February 21st, at 11 a.m., in the 19th Ward Chapel, 225 West 500 North. Friends may call at the Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, on Wednesday evening 6-8 pm, and at the Ward on Thursday, 10-10:45 a.m. Burial, Logan City Cemetery.
