Our beloved father, grandfather and husband, Reed Norr Baxter, was suddenly called home to his Father-in-Heaven Sunday, October 31, 1993, from complications following heart surgery in Salt Lake City.

He was born June 11, 1927 in Logan, Utah, to Willard Cooper Baxter and Irma Norr Baxter Peterson. Married Rose Driggs, June 19, 1947 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He served in the Navy, a veteran of World War II and the Korean War. Later worked at Hill Air Force Base for 34 years until his retirement.

He was a faithful and valiant member of the LDS Church having served as a stake missionary, Scoutmaster, church athletics, High Priest group leadership and countless responsibilities which he performed with dedication and a strong commitment to his faith. Most recently serving a mission with his sweetheart and eternal companion Rose in Ely, Nevada, influencing the lives of many people. He has spent untold hours in the church extraction program.

His generosity and pure love of Christ will be a part of our hearts forever. He has touched many lives with his humor and constant example of righteousness. He is loved by many friends and family and dedicated his life to their happiness. He loved his family dearly and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 4, 1993 at 12 noon in the Rolling Hills Chapel, 210 East 1825 North, Centerville. Friends and family may call at the Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 North Main, Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. and at the church Thursday from 10:45 to 11:45 a.m. prior to services.
Interment: Lakeview Memorial Estates.
