MPP Honorable Christopher Findley Fraser was born in Brockville, Ontario, Canada. To John Simon Fraser and Sarah Burke. He was the oldest of 10 children. He was called to the bar of Upper Canada in 1865. In 1873 he was offered a seat in Executive Council as Provincial Secretary and Registrar, a position he held until 4 April 1874. In 1876 he was created a Queen's Counsel. He represented Brockville in the Provincial Parliament. In 1874 he became the Commissioner of Public Works.
On August 24 1894 he was found dead in his room in Queen's Park in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. According to his death certificate he had suffered with lung problems for some time.
