Mrs. Teresa Parker Jackson age 60, passed into rest, Monday, June 22, 2020 at the Select Specialty Hospital Savannah, GA. The Bulloch County native was the daughter of the late Lester and Derecca Kent Parker, Sr. She was educated in the public school system of Bulloch County, Georgia. She was a graduate of the Statesboro High School Class of 1978 and a graduate of the Ogeechee Technical College.

Teresa Jackson was a dedicated member of the Whitesville Full Gospel Worship Center where she served on the Pastor’s Aide, Bethsaida Ministries and in many other church capacities. She was a former employee of Walmart Distribution.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Lester Parker, Jr, Louise Kemp and Ricky Parker.

She leaves her memory to be cherished by: her husband, Virgil L. Jackson, Statesboro, GA, sons, Terrence Jackson and Termell (Amanda) Jackson both of Statesboro, GA, grandchildren, Gabrielle Jackson, Deja Childers, AJ Childers, Joshua Holloway and tony Holloway, Adrian Perkins and Jada Jackson; sisters, Sarah Hughes, Gladys Williams and Gearlean (Eugene) Johnson, brothers, Waymon Parker, Statesboro, GA and Wilbert (Beverly) Parker, Far Rockaway, NY, a host of other relatives and friends.

Viewing for Mrs. Jackson will be held on Friday, June 25, 2020 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Hill’s Mortuary, Inc.

Graveside services and burial will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, June 26, 2020 at the Eastside Cemetery, Northside Drive (East) with the Bishop Larry Jones, officiating.

Services may be viewed via live stream on our Facebook page at Hill's Mortuary, Inc.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, social distancing will be enforced at the graveside services. We ask that you adhere to all CDC guidelines.
