Shirley Lee Crutchfield Harmon
September 21, 1941 - June 22, 2020
Shirley Lee Crutchfield Harmon, daughter of John S. and Thelma L. Crutchfield was born on Sunday, September 21, 1941, in Nashville and was a graduate of Howard High School.
At an early age, she was saved in the Church of the Nazarene and was a dedicated member of the Trevecca Community Church of the Nazarene. Church was an important part of her life and she especially loved her Round Table Sunday School class and her Tuesday morning Bible Study.
Shirley's beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her children: Lisa Carpenter of Lebanon, TN and Kristie Harmon of Smyrna, TN; grandsons, Jordan Carpenter and Cody Carpenter; great-granddaughter, CoraLeigh Nova Carpenter. She will also be cherished by her loving brothers and sister: James, Tom (Lavonia), Paul (Ruth Ann), Kenneth (Queda), Charles (Sherry) and Becky (Steve) Headrick and a host of neices and nephews!
Shirley retired from Gibson Guitar after 37 years. She enjoyed working and this job brought her much joy.
Shirley loved everyone and was loved by many! She enjoyed eating out and one of her favorite restaurants for breakfast was The Country Cafe.
While our hearts are broken, we are so happy she is now at rest and with Jesus! She is experiencing a wonderful reunion in heaven and, for that, we are grateful! We will see you again, Shirley! Hug mama and daddy for us!
