The bodies were found in a mobile home in the 600 block of Doe Street in Richburg, which sits adjacent to I-77, said Tommy Williams, Chester County deputy coroner.
The victims were identified as Gene Rogers 61, and Billie Ruth Rogers, 78, Williams said.
Both victims were found shot to death on Doe Street in rural Chester County Sunday afternoon, said Chester County Sheriff Max Dorsey.
The shootings are being investigated as homicides, Dorsey said Monday morning. The State Law Enforcement Division and coroner are involved with deputies in the investigation, Dorsey said.
No other information has been released.

She retired from Barracks Automotive in Charleston after many years of service as a service manager and was a member of Winifrede Community Church.
She was preceded in death by Sons: Kevin Lee and Gene Rogers,

Brothers: Larry, Dick and Donnie Alderman.

Funeral will be 11 a.m. Tuesday June 30, 2020 at Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens, Glasgow with Rev. Richard Justice officiating. Leonard Johnson Funeral Home, Marmet is in charge of arrangements.
