Jane Pearson was the daughter of Alice Saul and John Pearson. Jane married James Hacking January 27, 1827 in Burton In Kendall, England.
As the story goes:
In far away England years ago lived two young men who were fast friends. Their work threw them together for James Hacking was working as a cabinet maker and James Clark was a stone cutter and mason and he often worked on buildings where the other worked.
Their association did not end with their work day, as they also went around together socially and dated the girls of that community. Among the girls they dated were two sisters, Jane and Elizabeth Pearson. James Clark had an eye for Jane, while James Hacking found Elizabeth interesting. Dating this way went on for awhile; the just in fun one evening James Hacking dated Jane and James Clark took Elizabeth who afterward became his wife.
James Hacking and Jane Pearson also married and became the parents of six children: Alice Hacking, Harriet Hacking, Jane Hopkin Hacking, John Sampson Hacking, Ann Hacking and James Hacking.
Her husband died September 14, 1839 in Burton In Kendall, England. She married second John Fisher May 31, 1841 in Penwortham, England. They had four children:
Alice Fisher, Elizabeth Fisher, William Fisher and Moroni Fisher.
Her second husband, John died in 1853 in American Fork, Utah. She married third Joel Terry April 1857.

Jane Pearson Hacking Fisher married Joel Terry 15 April 1853 in the office of G. A. Smith. He immediately was sent on a mission leaving her to care for his children, as his other wives had died. When he returned, he was also sealed to Maria Anderson (deceased), Hannah (deceased, and Jane Pearson Hacking Fisher on 22 April 1857 in the Endowment House. I checked the temple records myself.
Jane divorced him soon after, taking back her Fisher name as shown by the 1860 U.S. Census and other documents, including her signature on a widow's pension application for her daughter Jane since she was present at the birth of Mary Jane O'Brien. She kicked Joel out of the house after he severly beat her son Moroni Fisher. They were never together as husband and wife. However, she was
still concerned about his children and would call them in from the street to feed them and clean them up a little bit. She loved children, particularly ones that were in stressful conditions. Family members have speculated that this was the reason she married Joel in the first place--so she could care for his destitute children.
