George Hopkins served two tours of duty in the US Air Force, during the wars in both Vietnam then the Persian Gulf, and was awarded the Air Force Commendation Medal.
In recognition of his honorable service, George was laid to rest with honor at the Sacramento Valley National Cemetery. He was 71.
