The deceased was born in the state of Washington and the family came to Wisconsin when he was a young lad, first making their home in Burnett. They remained there several years and then came to Mayville, where the deceased spent many years in the barber business.
Mr. Schuknecht was the last member of his family. His parents died some years ago, as did two sisters and two brothers. Several children, nieces, and nephews remain.
Funeral services were held Saturday morning at the Koepsell & Gruber Funeral parlors, and interment took place in Graceland cemetery. The Rev. H. A. Michelke spoke.
