Although she had been seriously ill for several months, the death of Mrs. A. H. Leichtfuss in Milwaukee late Sunday night was a shock to the people of this community. She had suffered from Brights disease for more than a year, and for about a month was receiving medical attention in a Milwaukee hospital. A week ago she was removed to the home of her sister, Mrs. L. C. Reiner, where she passed away.

Mrs. A. H. Leichtfuss, nee Gertrude Schuknecht, was born in this city on March 29, 1897, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Schuknecht. On Dec. 12, 1922, she was married to A. H. Leichtfuss in Milwaukee.

The couple resided in Milwaukee for several years, but then came to this city, where Mr. Leichtfuss took charge of the property owned by the Youngstown Sheet & Tube company, comprising the former Mayville Iron company holdings.

Surviving are the husband, her mother, Mrs. Louise Schuknecht, in Milwaukee; two sisters, Mrs. Meta Reiner, Milwaukee; Mrs. Elsa Martens, Ashland, Ky., and a brother, Harold Schuknecht, Indio, Calif.

Last rites will be held this afternoon at 1:30 o'clock from the late home to the Methodist Episcopal church. The Rev. Anton Hatlestad will officiate, and interment will be made in Graceland cemetery.
