Steve “Zeke” Gregurech, 89, of Zeigler, Illinois passed away Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at his home.
Steve was born November 21, 1930 in Zeigler to John and Katie (Martinaga) Gregurech.
He married Pauline Lucille Flowers January 27, 1975 in Benton.
She preceded him in death November 12, 2011.
His parents; a daughter, Nancy Fletcher and a brother, Joseph Gregurech also preceded him in death.
He is survived by his grandchildren; great grandchildren; great great grandchildren.
Steve was an Air Force veteran of the Viet Nam war serving six terms of service who was discharged in 1971. He was a retired mail carrier for the US Post Office in Zeigler. He was a member of the Zeigler American Legion, Patrick McClellan Post 177 and the Zeigler Eagles Lodge.
Grave side funeral services for Mr. Gregurech will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, June 22, 2020 at the Zeigler Cemetery with military rites courtesy of the Zeigler and Orient American Legions and the West Frankfort VFW.
