COX--Died at Charlottesville, Indiana, on the 3d of 5th mo. 1886 Obed Cox, aged 66 years and 6 months.
He was born in Randolph Co., N. C. where he resided till 1867, when he removed with his wife and children to Henry Co., Ind. He was converted in his youth, and lived a Christian life; was often engaged in the work of christ, both in public and private. The four years previous to his death he suffered greatly from rheumatism. During this season of bodily affliction he evinced much Christian patience and fortitude. "Mark the perfect man and behold the upright; for the end of that man is peace."
