The family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 17, 2020 between 5 and 7 p.m. at Owens and Brumley Funeral Home in Wichita Falls. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 18, 2020 at Holliday Cemetery with Mr. Gill Peters, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Owens and Brumley Funeral Home of Wichita Falls.
Margaret was born on May 2, 1930 to the late Raymond and Dorris (Fentress) Lovejoy in Tillman County, Oklahoma. She graduated from Tipton High School, before continuing her education at Draughons Business College. While attending college, she met William “Bill” Neely and the couple married on June 4, 1950 and they spent the next 65 years together before his passing in 2015. Margaret was a member of Church of Christ in Holliday and a founder and member of the Village Floras Home Demonstration Club. She enjoyed those Sunday dinners with the family and most of all, being “Grams” to the grandchildren.
Margaret is survived by her children, Sherri Price and Billy “Ralph” Neely; 2 grandchildren, Kari Murray and husband, Aaron and Lee Price and wife, Jody; 5 great-grandchildren, Ashton, Carter and Lilly Murray and Camden and Hattie Jo Price.
