Tina Jerene Cook, of Oklahoma City, passed away June 7, 2020 at the age of 39. She was born December 10, 1980.

Tina was a member of Crossroads Church. She enjoyed family get-togethers, BBQs, writing and listening to music. Tina also enjoyed going out to eat, and she loved the chicken fried steak at Jimmy’s Round-Up. She was a Texas Longhorn fan. Her favorite TV shows were “Young and the Restless,” “Days of Our Lives,” “The Voice,” and “Shameless.”

Tina grew up in Oklahoma City and in addition to attending high school at American Christian Academy, she was also home schooled. She was a homemaker, a stay at home mom, and a loving housewife.

Tina enjoyed traveling with her grandparents – they traveled to Colorado, California, and going to the family reunions in Texas. She had also traveled with her grandparents to see the Biltmore Estate in North Carolina and to Branson.

Angela, Tina’s sister, said that Tina was bold, fun, sweet, thoughtful, genuine and outgoing. Her mother, Deborah, said her daughter was always trying to help anyone who had a need. Tina was a loving wife, mom, daughter, sister and friend. Her first love was her Lord and Savior, spending time with family and friends, but especially being with her pride and joy, her daughter, Skylee.

Tina is survived by her husband of 18 years, Coy Cook II, of the home; her daughter, Skylee Cook, of the home; her father, Richard Johnson, of Oklahoma City; her mother, Deborah Stafford & husband, Rick, of Oklahoma City; 1 sister, Angela Merrell, of Oklahoma City. Tina will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation will be held from 5-9pm, Sunday, June 14th and from 9am-9pm, Monday, June 15th, at the John M. Ireland Funeral Home & Chapel, located at 120 South Broadway, in Moore, Oklahoma. Funeral Services will be held at 11am, Tuesday, June 16th at South Lindsay Baptist Church, located at 3300 South Lindsay Ave., in Oklahoma City. Interment to follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens SW 104th & Walker, in Oklahoma City.

Services are under the direction of the John M. Ireland Funeral Home & Chapel.
