Wilson "Porky" Willis

Wilson “Porky” Willis, 71, passed away in a Marion Nursing Center after an illness.

Wilson was born in Hemingway, SC, a son of the late Clarence Edward and Belvagene Wilson Willis.

He worked for the Hemingway Tupperware Plant in the Maintence Department for the past 43 years, a member of the Ebenezer United Methodist Church, the Johnsonville Masonic Lodge # 365, and the Muddy Creek Fire Department.

He is survived by three brothers, Francis R. “Frank” (Darlene) Willis, Thomas G. Willis, and James E. (Hope) Willis; nieces and nephews, Jay Frank (Holly) Willis, Jan (Jason) Causey, Beverly D. (Justin) Owens, and James B. Willis; a number of great nieces, and great nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Wednesday, June 17, 2020 in the Morris Funeral Home Chapel. Burial, with Masonic rites, will be in the Ebenezer United Methodist Church Cemetery, 1760 Pope Road, Hemingway, SC. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 3:00 in the Morris Funeral Home Chapel, 416 N. Main St., Hemingway, SC 29554. Memorials may be made to the Ebenezer United Methodist Church, PO Box 188, Hemingway, SC 29554. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, please exercise good judgment and practice social distancing if attending.
