Buddy Faye Foster (69) was born Nov. 11, 1940 in OKC and passed away May 12, 2010. Buddy lived a life others would admire. She was the first female to race professionally on the dirt track circuit in open competition. She had a tremendous servant's heart. Buddy helped start Oklahoma Lawyers for Children and served as their executive director. She was always an advocate for children and sought out what was best for them. She also received commendation letters for her involvement as a volunteer with the Red Cross. Buddy was preceded in death by her parents, Rex and Helen Foster; and one son, Anthony Ebey. She is survived by her son, Steve Ebey and his wife Kristin; 2 brothers; 2 grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be at Crawford Family Funeral Service (Edmond, OK) on Sunday, 1-7 pm, and Monday, 8:30 am-5:30 pm. A service to celebrate Buddy's life will be at 3 pm at Crawford Family Funeral Service on Tuesday, May 18th.
