According to the Gardner Genealogy she was married at about age 15, therefore about 1802, to Thomas Bancroft who had come to Manlius, NY with his Mother about 1795. Together they had 8 children, the youngest being born in 1821. They resided in Manlius for a short time after their marriage as Thomas was a member of the Masonic Lodge there in 1803. In 1807 they purchased the land in Walworth, that would become their home. Telottsey died leaving Thomas with several young children, including Joel who was possibly a child with Downs Syndrome, listed as idiotic on the 1850 census, and baby Harry. Daughter Saloma was married to Albon Crocker Gardner at age 15 and had already moved to the frontier of the Western Reserve in Ohio where she now had 2 children. Telottsey's maiden name is clearly given on her daughter, Orpha 's death certificate.
