Palmyra - Miss Ada Seamon, 88, of Palmyra died Thursday at the Bonnie Vista Nursing Home in Whitewater.
She was born Dec. 7, 1879, in Palmyra Township, the daughter of Dan and Carrie Seamon. She was employed by the U.S. Post Office here for about 15 years and later worked for the Bank of Palmyra. She was a member of Palmyra Methodist Church and the Royal Neighbors. She was village treasurer here for a number of years.
She was a lifelong resident of Palmyra.
There are no immediate survivors. One sister preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be Monday at 10:30 a.m. at Smith Funeral Home. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
