Passed away Tuesday at Methodist IU Hospital in Indianapolis, IN.

Daughter of Carl A. and Jennie Oakes Bowers.
Married Paul C. McKinney May 17, 1969 in Covington, IN. He survives.
Also surviving are sons Brad (Misty) and Bryan (Tambi) McKinney; daughters Trish (Troy) Pugh and Dana (Bill) Hawk; sisters Cathy Lawson and Beth Jones; brother Darrell (Janie) Bowers; thirteen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and infant sister Patty Ann Bowers.

Carla was a sports fan, specifically a diehard Cubs fan; enjoyed attending her grandchildren’s sporting events, sitting around a campfire whether cooking hot dogs and marshmallows, visiting with family and friends or simply watching and enjoying the fire.

Funeral service 2pm Friday June 12 at Dickerson Funeral Home in Veedersburg with Pastor Jason Davis officiating.
Visitation noon until time of service.
Burial at Mt Hope Cemetery in Covington.
