Esther Lorene Rogers, 97, of Homedale passed away Saturday, June 6, 2020 at a local care center. Esther was born October 3, 1922 in Grand Junction, Colorado to Elmer and Zenobia Sweaney. She attended schools in Nyssa, Oregon. She married Dallas Rogers August 23, 1940. She had daughters. Her greatest accomplishments was being a wife, mother and grandmother! She did like to crochet, do embroidery, quilt, read and do puzzles.
Esther is survived by her daughters Lynda Eagans and Shirley (Jon) Burton; 5 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 8 great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Dallas; her parents; brothers: Pat, Jack and Harold; son-in-law Eddy; one great-grandchild and one great-great-grandchild.
The family would like to extend many thanks and much love to the Owyhee Health and Rehab for their exceptional care and affection they bestowed on our mother. Love to you all.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 PM, Friday, June 12, at Zeyer Funeral Chapel, 83 N Midland Blvd in Nampa.
