Dennis Mitchell, 66 of Connersville passed away on Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at Rushville Memorial Hospital. He was born on May 22, 1954 in Connersville to the late Owen and Oleva Mitchell.
Dennis was a member of Community Gospel Church in Connersville for many years. He worked at D&M until they closed and then went on to retire from Stant Incorporated.
He enjoyed attending family dinners, taking walks and enjoying the great outdoors. He could often be found going to car auctions and working on vehicles.
Dennis will be greatly missed by his daughter and her fiancé, Kimberly (Brian Sailor) Mitchell; a grandson, Nolan King; 2 brothers and 4 sisters.
Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Becky Jo Bowling Mitchell; 2 brothers and a grandson, Hayden Mitchell.
Visitation for Dennis will be held on Thursday, June 11, 2020 from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm at Urban Winkler Funeral Home, 513 W. 8th Street, Connersville, Indiana 47331. The funeral service will begin at 4:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Lick Creek Cemetery.
