Mary Edna Baer, 91, of Meyersdale, died March 30, 1983, at Meyersdale Community Hospital. Born June 11, 1891, in Allegheny Township, a daughter of the late Daniel K. and Caroline (Brant) Keefer. Preceded in death by husband, George E., and daughter, Hilda Marie. Survived by these children: Leo E. and Ottis D., both of Meyersdale; Glenn H. of Westminster, Md.; Allan J. and Mary Ada, both of Clarksville, Md.; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. A sister of Mrs. Nellie Raymon of Detroit, Mich.; and a half-sister, Gertrude Landis of Somerset. Member of the Amity United Church of Christ, Meyersdale and a member of a number of community organizations. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in the Price Funeral Home, Meyersdale. Services will be conducted Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at the Amity United Church of Christ, the Rev. Lloyd Sechriest and the Rev. Gary L. Baer officiating. Interment, Reformed Cemetery.
