Sister Marilyn (her professed name) entered the Congregation of Our Lady of Victory Noll Missionary Sisters on October 30, 1947 and made first vows on August 5, 1950. Over the years, she provided religions guidance and support to many at- risk, indigent families in the states of New Jersey, Alabama, Michigan, Texas, West Virginia, Maryland, New Mexico, and Kentucky. Her main focus in ministry was Religious Education. Sister Marilyn/Doris returned to Victory Noll in 2009 to serve as Sacristan of the Archbishop Noll Memorial Chapel. She retired to prayer and presence in 2012.

Throughout her life, her mission was to serve God by exemplifying love thru service to all.
