Ammon Allen 1860 - 1931 (age 71)

HUNTSVILLE -- Ammon Allen, 71, died at his home here Saturday, following a heart attack, which he suffered after attending the old folk's outing at Lorin Farr park Friday.

He as born in Ogden on April 23, 1860, and came here as a boy. He was a high priest in the L.D.S. church.

Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Isabell Hyslop Allen, and 10 sons and daughters; Epher H., George, Daniel and Jessie Allen, Tooele; Moroni Allen, Lincoln, Neb.; Louis, Effie, Abner Allen. Mrs. Myrtle Moore and Mrs. Mark Johnsen, Huntsville; 33 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; Mrs. Emma Jorgensen, Huntsville' Mrs. Laurlnda Ingalls and Mrs. John Newey. Ogden; Davis O. Allen, Provo; Hyrum Allen, Moab; Samuel Allen, Huntsville.

Funeral arrangements are in charge of Lindquist & Sons.
