Marjorie Lucille Walker, age 88, of Pennfield Township passed away Friday evening, May 15, 2020. She was born in Emmett Township on November 29, 1931, the daughter of Charles and Mildred (Erk) Hoover and graduated from Delton High School with the Class of 1952. Marjorie worked in the packing room at the Kellogg Company for more than 15 years.
Marjorie married Ronald W. "Ron" Walker on October 19, 1953; he sadly preceded her in death on October 4, 2010. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Bonnie Peck on May 19, 2019; her parents; and her brother, Ralph Hoover. Marjorie is survived by a step-daughter, Donna Norman; a step-son, Robert (Rose) Walker; a son-in-law, Stuart Peck; ten grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Welma Gillett and Ruth Winch.
Marjorie attended Baseline United Methodist Church. She enjoyed gardening, knitting, and crocheting. But above all else, she loved spending time with her family and friends.
Due to recent government regulations, a private family service has been held at Hicks Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions made to the Baseline United Methodist church and/or Hospice Care of Southwest Michigan, would be appreciated.
