Mrs. Esther Blake Brown, 71, domiciliary patient at Patrick Henry Hospital, died Monday in the hospital after a long illness.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Doris Pehrs of Glendale, Calif., and Mrs. Robert Poole Jr. of Newport News; four sisters, Mrs. Nellie B. Smith and Mrs. Nathan Tillage Sr., both of Gloucester Point, Mrs. Ned Brown of Newport News and Mrs. Turner Owens of Hayes; two brothers, Rosser Blake and Odell Blake Sr., both of Bena; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Hogg Funeral Home, Gloucester Point, is in charge.

GLOUCESTER POINT--A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Bethlehem United Methodist Church, Bena, for Mrs. Esther Blake Brown, 71, who died Monday.

The Rev. A. Kenneth Lambdin Jr. will conduct the service. Burial will be in Gloucester Point Cemetery. The body will be placed in the church at 1 p.m.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 tonight at Hogg Funeral Home, Gloucester Point.
