She was a member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church. She was retired from Eastern State Hospital as a nurse, after 16 years of service.
She is survived by her two sons, James L. Owens of Hayes and Clarence Owens of Capahosic; seven grandchildren; and one great- grandchild.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 23, in Gloucester Point Cemetery by the Rev. Joseph Shepherd. The family will receive friends from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. today at Andrews Funeral Home.
