Perrin, July 19.--Edward (Ned) Dewey Brown, 57, a Perrin merchant, died unexpectedly of a heart attack in his store today.

He was a member of the Union Baptist Church and Sioux Tribe 9, IROM, of Achilles, and the Woodmen of the World.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ethel Blake Brown; two daughters, Mrs. G. A. Kahle of Newport News and Mrs. Frank P. Dietrick of Pedricktown, N. J.; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Brown of Perrin; five grandsons; two brothers, R. C. Brown and E. R. Brown, both of Perrin, and four sisters, Mrs. Clifton Diggs of Warwick, and Mrs. Volley Heywood, Mrs. William Penn and Miss Lesbia Brown, all of Perrin.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 Wednesday afternoon in Union Baptist Church with the Rev. George Kissinger, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Gloucester Point Cemetery.

The body will be taken from the Hoge [sic Hogge] Funeral Home at 2 Wednesday afternoon.
