Crystal McBride, 15, High School Sophomore –

Miss Crystal June McBride, 15, well-known young musician of Markle, died at the Huntington County Hospital Tuesday following five weeks illness of complications.

Miss McBride was born in Markle July 26, 1924, to John and Maude Wilburn McBride, and was a member of the sophomore class of the Markle High School.

Surviving are the parents, two sisters, Mrs. Mildred Dalrymple, of near Warren and Miss Reada McBride, at home; two brothers, Kenneth and Ralph McBride, both of Markle; and the grandfathers, Daniel McBride, Markle and George Wilburn, of south of Markle.

She was a member of the Methodist Church at Markle and for the last year served as organist of the church.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the church, the Rev. H.W. Mohler, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the Rockford Cemetery in Wells County.
